BOOK LAUNCH: GOV. IKPEAZU APPRECIATES PATRICK ANYATONWU, DESCRIBES HIS BOOK AS “TIMELESS MASTERPIECE”
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has appreciated the Director General, Abia Mass Mobilization Agency, Mr. Patrick Anyatonwu for authoring his latest book titled WHAT A BILLIONAIRE TOLD A POOR MAN.
While talking about the book, the governor described it as a timeless masterpiece for the youths as the book highlighted the importance of applying perseverance and work hard to make it in life. The governor promised to make the book available to all the tertiary institutions in Abia State and also instructed that it should be made compulsory for all students of entrepreneurship studies in tertiary institutions in the State.
Also speaking, the chief launcher and Majority leader, Abia House of Assembly, Chief Chinedum Orji lauded the author for his book and bought 200 copies to be distributed to the tertiary institutions in the State.
In their speeches while unveiling the book, the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ikechi Mgboji and the Vice Chancellor, Abia State University Uturu, Prof. Uche Ikonne, represented by Prof. Emereole said the author has done Abia a great deal by writing the book, saying that success does not come without patience and perseverance.
They noted that nobody can achieve success unless he works with others, adding that the book x-rayed the two extremes of life; the rich and the poor. They recommended all to go with copies of the book.
Earlier the Chairman of the occasion, Chief Uzoma Ihuka described the author as a gift to the Igbo nation. He stated that the book teaches the youths to work hard and persevere, saying that God would grant success to anyone who persevere in life’s endeavours.
