It was a fulfilled day in the city of Umuahia as Gold Ink Communications Ltd publishers of Abia Facts Newspaper, Abia Facts Online Tv and owners of EC Studio officially opened her office today 14th of May 2018 in the city of Umuahia Abia State.
The ceremony kicked off with a brief opening prayer by Mr. Emeka Ikwuagwu, the Chairman of Emeka Ikwuagwu Foundation, after which a brief introduction of the firm was done by Mr. Uche Aguoru, Senior Political Editor Abia Facts Newspaper, Who handed over to Mr. Emenike Iroegbu, the Editor in Chief of Abia Facts Newspaper and the MD of Gold Ink Communication Ltd.
Mr. Emenike enlightened the guests on the visions, missions and core values of Abia Facts.
While speaking, Mr. Emenike said “Abia facts is an excellent Abia State based Newspaper that is reliable, dependable and credible and also the best online and print media outfit in South East Nigeria. And the mission of Abia Facts is to disseminate information in a professional manner that will make it impactful, exciting and with a high level of objectivity.
The complex which was opened by the NUJ Vice president Mr. Christopher Isiguzo had in attendance Chief Dr. David Ogba Onuoha Bourdex ably represented, Chief Uche Gabaolu of MCL TV, Paddy Anyatuonwu, Ugochukwu Nwankwo, Chairman Online Media Practitioner of Abia State, Mr. Emeka Ikwuagwu of Emeka Ikwuagwu Foundation and a lot other personality.
Mr. Christopher Isiguzo while speaking, advised that the ethics of media profession should be maintained and also the firm should affiliate with other media organizations like NUJ. He commended The Management of Abia Facts for their relentless effort in making sure Abia state is up to date with happenings within and outside the state. He also advised the firm to be more careful and accommodate different chains of opinions from all political groups.
A toast was proposed by Mr. Emmanuel Aneke the Manager Skye Bank Nig. Plc. Umuahia.
The ceremony ended with a light refreshment. And a closing remark was made by Mr. Emenike the Editor in Chief of Abia Facts Newspaper.
