The final match of the Victor Okezie Ikpeazu Victory Cup Competition which is being powered by Sir Lucky Johnson Cares Organization has come to an end amidst fanfare.
Speaking in an interview at Isuikwuato High School play ground venue of the competition, the organizer of the competition Sir Lucky Johnson explained that what the organization did was purely to improve the wellbeing of the youths through foot ball and also to encourage them to do better in what they do in life.
He explained that the organization put up the competition to also support Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on his second term victory as Governor of Abia State especially in the area of sports, stressing that he will continue to engage the youths into meaningful activities, adding that about 28 teams were involved in the competition.
Sir Lucky Johnson further stated that his interest and intention is to see that Isuikwuato L.G.A, and Abia State in general is improved so that the youths can have a sense of belonging and fit properly in the scheme of things in the society.
Also speaking, the Abia State Commissioner for Youths/Sports Chief Emeka Ikwuagwu who was also representing Governor Ikpeazu, explained that the boys are working hard and have done great job so far, pointing out that they boys displayed a high level of professionalism.
He hinted that the boys will be exposed to the best so that they can do better, noting that those who performed well, will be picked up and given oppurtunity to showcase their capacity in trails for clubs like Enyimba FC, Abia Comet, Abia Warriors and others.
The honorable commissioner made it clear that he will do everything within his power to promote talents from Isuikwuato LGA and other LGAs within Abia State.
The final match saw Amaba Community emerging victorious against Eluama Community via a penalty shoot out.
