There was confusion at the Ndola Central Police Station after a girl from Masala township in Ndola walked back to the home of her parents after being dead for 2 years. The parents who were taken aback, was taken to the Central police station, said their daughter Winnie Lufunda died after an illness at the age of 17 and was buried three days after her death at the grave no 73 according to the Ndola City Council books.

They further narrated that their daughter went through a church service and her body was viewed before it was buried on November 12, 2016.

Zambia daily mail reported that after the exhumation of Winnie on Monday, that they found out that her bones were still there along with a blue blanket, bottle and other items that her mother identified.

The parents have also submitted the death certificate and birth certificate to the police to help establish the truth.

The parents and the “resurrected” Winnie are currently at the Police station, awaiting a DNA test to confirm if she truly returned from the dead.

Crowd is currently trooping to the Police Station to ascertain the truth of the matter.
