…. Alleges that he gave N70M to Hon. Obioma and he absconded with it.

The senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District in the Red Chamber has sent out a strong warning to his opponents come 2019. The senator who spoke through his Chief Liaison Officer  Ifeanyi Umere in one of Abia Facts TV prominent programme Hotspot, promised that the senator will run over every candidate from other parties that will stand against him in the fought coming election.

The Chief Liaison Officer made it clear that PDP has already endorsed Senator T.A Orji for 2019 and that no other candidate is ready to come out under the PDP platform to contest against Sen. Orji because he has performed more than expected.

Ifeanyi Umere in that same programme took a swipe at Hon. Acho Obioma who had early declared to contest for senate under APC and had assured his supporters of beating Sen. T.A Orji at the poll in 2019.

Abia Facts Newspaper had earlier covered and reported the senatorial declaration of Hon. Acho Obioma’s where he said that Senator T.A Orji is a sleeping senator and also said that he does see Sen. Orji contesting in 2019.

The former house of representative member also made it known that if PDP mistakenly gives Sen. Orji ticket, the senator will be disgraced.

But in return heat, Senator Orji’s Chief Liaison Officer Ifeanyi Umere described Hon. Obioma as a paper weight and also alleged that the former House of Representative member collected N70M from Senator Orji’s government when he was the governor of Abia State to fix Ikwuano ring road and he absconded with it.

When Uche Aguoru the interviewer, requested to know why the government is not taking appropriate step to recover the money, Ifeanyi Umere replied by saying it is at the prerogative of the present Abia State to act or not to act.
