OSISIOMA EXPLOSION: OGAH CALLS ON FG TO INTERVENE, GIVES OUT RELIEVE MATERIALS
…Condemns lack of electricity in Abia state teaching hospital
The NNPC pipeline explosion that occurred in Umuimo and Umuaduru in Osisioma Local Government Area of Abia State has attracted the attention of Abia State All Progress Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah. The gubernatorial candidate who was represented by a former APC governorship aspirant Chief Chamberlin Adiaso visited both communities affected and likewise the Abia State teaching Hospital in Aba.
During the visit, Chamberlin described the incident as pathetic and called on the federal government intervention agencies to quickly come in and help the hospitalized victims and also rehabilitate individual whose properties and source of income have been destroyed by the fire.
He advised people to stay away from leaking pipelines because they are time bombs waiting to explode.
Chamberlin likewise condemned the absence of electricity when they visited the Abia State Teaching Hospital in Aba where some of the victims are being treated. He made it clear that the present government of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has failed in this regard and promised that if Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah wins the 2019 election, everything will change for good.
Finally, the representative of Ogah wished the victims quick recovery and advised those that lost love ones to take heart.
During the visit, relieve materials were also given to victims and relatives.
